Doing it all just for you!
Things are gettin' crazy all up here!
The band's excursion into the "unplugged" arena has blossomed quite nicely. With a few very well received acoustic gigs under our belts we have been justified that our idea for this side project was a good one. And our "trial by fire" approach was not as scary as we imagined. What I mean is, we basically just went for it with no real gear-up or rehearsal: we booked a gig and showed up with our stuff and jammed. Everything went off without a hitch and we've not looked back. So, if you like the softer side keep your eyes peeled for DSO-Unplugged.
But fear not! We have not pulled the plug [pun intended]. Dead Shot Outlaws are still alive and kickin' out the jams with all the electrical power that a genuine Rock & Roll band can dole out and having a great time entertaining the Central Coast. Keeping it real and leaving a wake of wasted bodies and smiling faces everywhere we go.
With summer approaching the band is getting hotter too so don't miss out. We will be burnin' down the house somewhere near you soon.
Taking no prisoners

2013 And our new horizons
Well here we are ushering in a brand new year. Dead Shot Outlaws are rippin' right along and the future has never been brighter. We closed out 2012 with some great shows that hopefully you were able to attend. If not you really missed out. We sure had fun and judging by our audiences reactions the feeling was mutual.
The band has been adding new material and will continue to do so regularly. We never want to be one of those bands that you can set your watch to by what song they are playing at the same time, every show. DSO is all about progress and keeping things fresh and interesting. So next time you see us you'll hear a lot of new stuff.
We are again going into Tantrum Studio's in Atascadero to record with our good buddy Kevin Thayer. We were so pleased with our first session there that we couldn't wait to get back. But things come up so it has taken us a little while to get organized and ready. But that turned out to be to our advantage as we just learned that Kevin has expanded the studio and upgraded his equipment. It was nice before but we are really looking forward to the changes. And this time we are going for quality over quantity so we are going to spend time on a selection of songs instead of just crashing through every song we know and weeding out the best. Plus our current line up had only been together a few weeks when we made our last recording so that is another reason to be excited about this recording session. Can't wait to hear the results. Cuts will be posted on our website and also Facebook.
There is also a new venture we are developing: Dead Shot Outlaws UNPLUGGED. We have been seriously toying with the idea for a few months but then just decided to drop the bomb and go for it. So we have already booked some dates to unleash our side project onto the public. You'll see the "unplugged" annotation in the dated show venue. We are very excited and plan to make this another face of the band for small venues, wine tasting rooms, coffee houses, intimate parties or what-have-you. If you're interested in booking the acoustic DSO just follow the phone # or link on our home page.
We have also been getting a lot of requests for Dead Shot Outlaws gear. So Logo T-shirts are also on the agenda plus some other memorabilia we'll be adding on. We had a source for the shirts but the person has not been reliable in coming through so we will be looking for another vendor. But DSO stuff is coming soon. Heck, we even want some for ourselves LOL.
Also we want to put out an alert to any touring bands passing through the central coast that might want to play a double or triple bill with us to get in contact. There are some large venue's in the area that like to have multiple bands on the ticket. If you see this and have a band or know of a band that might be interested please pass along the info and web-link. Thanks.
I guess that's about all I can think of at the moment. So keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for all things DSO. We love to ROCK and are coming to get'cha!
So get on your Bad Motor Scooter and RIDE...to a Dead Shot Outlaws show
