Ch Ch Ch Ch Changes

  Well, as you can see Dead Shot Outlaws have an all new look. We had been planning this for a while but took our time with our make-over so as to get what we really wanted. There were several reason's for the change but basically as the band has evolved and started to gel and gain an identity we saw ourselves in a different space than we were a year ago when our journey began. The old west "James Gang" sort of motif wasn't really doing it for us so change was inevitable. We are happy and hope our fans are as well. So far the reviews have been positive.
  Despite the visual change we are still the same rockin' bunch of desperado's you have come to know and love and that won't change but now our look is more in line with our sound so our intention is to give the uninitiated audiences a better idea of what to expect musically from the band.
  And speaking of music, the band has been busy. We performed many shows over the summer and loved every minute.  Played some new for us venues plus we're getting a toe-hold in the winery circuit which has been a major band goal right from the start and we're very happy about that.
  The band did a photo session last night [9/6/12] with our official Dead Shot Outlaws photography team: Kristi Jerdin and Randi Pankratz of Orange Blossom Creative. We had a lot of fun and doing a night session out in public with tons of photographic flood lights attracted some attention, made us feel like real rock stars LOL. Thanks so much girls and we'll be seeing you again soon.
  Also on the music front, the band had a great time playing several Thursday night gigs at Pine Street Saloon in Paso Robles over the past few weeks. From what we saw, not "everybody's working for the weekend" as the song goes. We pulled in some large crowds and they weren't waiting for anything but good music and cold drinks so we supplied our half and the bartenders did the rest. We would really like to thank everyone for coming out to support the band and also the entire staff of Pine Street Saloon for having us and being so accomodating. We're looking forward to more dates in the future
  Hey speaking of future dates, anyone need a good band for Halloween? We would really like to play for you. If you know of anyone pass this along. We'll be ready.
